The law which grants the Spanish residence to non-EU citizens for investing in properties has been officially published in the Official Gazette (B.O.E.) after being approved by the Spanish Parliament and open thousands of possibilities for the visa

- The resident visa allows investors the right to remain in Spain for a period up to 12 months before they  have to renew the residence permit (currently is 90 days).
- It allows beneficiaries to move without limitation in Schengen area.
- Allows buyers/investors to obtain an additional 2-year residency permit, renewable every two years as long as the threshold of 500.000€.
- It allows the family reunification;  the spouse and children under 18 years can also apply for residence permit.
